(INTELLIHUB) — In what appears to be DHS preparing to militarily engagement the American people, a solicitation for 141,160 rounds of Hornady .308 Winchester A-MAX TAP Ammunition was posted on the FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) website February 7, 2014.

Hornady .308 Win 168gr A-MAX TAP Ammunition
Solicitation Number: HSCEMS-14-Q-00004
Agency: Department of Homeland Security
Office: Immigration & Customs Enforcement
As most Americans know, DHS is responsible for guarding the homeland, so make no mistake about it, these rounds are to be used on U.S. soil against American citizens. The solicitation falls under the office of Immigration & Customs Enforcement, which makes for good cover to those drinking the Kool–aid. Delivery of these rounds is scheduled for Fort Benning, Georgia, some distance from the Mexican border.
In the March 11, 2013 Forbes article 1.6 Billion Rounds Of Ammo For Homeland Security? It’s Time For A National Conversation, which received 1,074,405 views to date, journalist Ralph Benko verified the purchase of 1.6 Billion Rounds – excerpt:
The Denver Post, on February 15th, ran an Associated Press article entitled Homeland Security aims to buy 1.6b rounds of ammo, so far to little notice. It confirmed that the Department of Homeland Security has issued an open purchase order for 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition. As reported elsewhere, some of this purchase order is for hollow-point rounds, forbidden by international law for use in war, along with a frightening amount specialized for snipers. Also reported elsewhere, at the height of the Iraq War the Army was expending less than 6 million rounds a month. Therefore 1.6 billion rounds would be enough to sustain a hot war for 20+ years. In America.

More evidence of an enormous domestic military buildup was brought to light by Intellihub News on April 5th, 2012 in the article “Gearing Up: DHS Purchases Bullet Resistant Checkpoint Booths Amid Large Scale Ammo Buildup” which was read by many. An excerpt from that article reads:
The Department of Homeland Security has made news in the past few weeks with the revelations that they have purchased up to 650 million rounds of .40 caliber hollow point ammunition.
Now, despite ignoring requests as to why they need that much ammo, they have moved forward and purchased an unknown amount of bullet resistant booths to possibly be stationed at unannounced checkpoints throughout the country.
A press release from the company that supplied the booths bragged about the sale:
Press release date: April 4, 2012
Owner: Department of Homeland Security
Shelters Direct provided the Department of Homeland Security with this 4×13 Steel UL 752 Level 3 Bullet Resistant Booth.
This guard building features a standing seam hip roof, a thru-wall HVAC unit, (2) UL 752 BR Level 3 sliding doors, UL 752 Bullet Resistant Level 3 glass and a Low]E coating.
These booths seem destined to be used at checkpoints throughout the country as DHS and other government agencies continue their full scale takeover of America.
Lastly, in the April 30, 2013 report by RT Homeland Security under investigation for massive ammo buys, the purchases by DHS have alarmed nearly everyone in the country – the article goes on to say:
The Department of Homeland Security is under investigation for purchasing large stockpiles of ammunition, days before legislation was introduced that would restrict the amount a government agency can legally buy.
The Government Accountability Office is now conducting the investigation into the alleged DHS purchases, which is “just getting underway,” GAO spokesman Chuck Young told US News & World Report.
DHS officials have repeatedly denied stockpiling ammunition, but AP reports claim that the agency plans to buy more than 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition over the next four or five years, and has already bought 360,000 rounds of hollow point bullets and 1.5 billion rounds in 2012.
News like this suggests that a domestic military buildup of unprecedented proportions is in progress. It is critical that all of Intellihub News readers stay vigilant to these developments.
