SOUTH CAROLINA (INTELLIHUB) — People in Chesnee, Gaffney, Pacolet, South Carolina and Grover, North Carolina all reported that they felt and heard an explosion around 10pm on Friday night.

Despite some mention from local firefighters that the blast seemed to originate from “a small area next to the roadway”, no details about this incident have been revealed by police or government officials.

Some residents have reported that this is not the first time that explosions like this have occurred in the area. Robbie Buhl lives three miles from Henderson Road and said it’s happened many times before.  He also said that  no one has been able to give him any answers about the explosion that occurred weeks ago.

When asked for a comment on the explosion the only response from police is that “the investigation is ongoing”.
