YELLOWSTONE (INTELLIHUB) — United States Geological Survey data confirms that hundreds of earthquakes have occurred in and around the supervolcano region over the past 15-days and some scientists say the situation is serious.
Although, USA Today reports: “Yellowstone National Park experiences hundreds of earthquakes in a short time, but experts don’t think it means the volcano under the park will erupt.” So there’s nothing to worry about.
The swarm appears to be ongoing, especially in the Caldera region.
Youtuber “Lawborn” gives an update.
Is recent earthquake swarm a precursor to a massive supervolcano eruption at Yellowstone?
