WINNIPEG, Canada (INTELLIHUB) — Two people in their 20’s are in critical condition and two others were set ablaze after an improvised explosive device (IED) found in a bag exploded in a vehicle outside a 7-Eleven store around 11:15 p.m. Saturday.
The bag was retrieved by one of the injured from in front of the store and brought inside the cab of a pick-up truck where it eventually exploded.
Authorities said that the IED was not intended for the victims.
The incident is under investigation.
