(INTELLIHUB) — Host of Conspiracy Chronicles podcast Aaron Cole appeared on The Shepard Ambellas Show on Wednesday where he talked to Intellihub founder and editor-in-chief Shepard Ambellas about operatives within the so-called movement and how a purge of social media outlets may be on the way.

“I want to touch on people who seem like they are in the counter-movement or something like that,” the podcaster told Ambellas. “It’s hard to say they may not be touching the boundaries like you do with your posts and your great website intellihub.com–maybe they are somehow gaming the system to work that out but also I’ll see people, not on the fringe, of course, post the dumbest shit and it will get the most absurd amount of likes and replies to it.”

Additionally, Cole explained how major social media platforms currently receive funding from the U.S. government but said that things may change in the near future if the government pulls their funding.

“For some reason it has been okay that the government has been to some degree funding social media and if they don’t abide by that executive order the government is going to pull their funding,” he said. “So, the social media companies are going to rely a little bit heavier or a lot heavier on these companies that give the money for ads.”

“These companies come in and we are not exactly sure what is their motivation–who owns them and what goes down with that,” Cole explained. “So we could see a social media purge.”
