A report out of the online publication Axios reveals acting Secretary of Defense Chief Chris Miller has ordered staffers to abruptly stop the Biden transition under the guise that Pentagon officials involved with the transition have become overwhelmed causing a great delay.
The move has been downplayed publicly by a Pentagon senior official who said: “with the holidays we are taking a knee for two weeks.”
The same official also stated: “We are still committed to a productive transition.”
