A new round of plotting by al Qaeda has surfaced, says CNN

YAMEN (INTELLIHUB) — According to a CNN correspondent, Barbra Starr, the U.S. intelligence community believes that a newly released video featuring a public meeting of around 100 top al Qaeda members was filmed just a few weeks ago, ushering in a new threat to America.

Moreover, CNN further reported that the group has now “went dark” and may pose a threat to “planes” as this particular Yemeni sect specializes in making “bombs that get on planes” which are “undetectable”.

Barbra Starr also made it a point to say that the terror group has been staying off of cell phones and the internet to avoid detection by U.S. officials.

To no surprise, on April 10, the Yaman Post set the stage with a backstory, reporting:

Security forces in the governorate of Abyan said that new elements are being recruited under the umbrella of Tariq Al-Fadli, one of the strongest figures in Abyan, adding that Al-Fadhli may have turned Abyan governorate into a terrorist camp in cooperation with Al-Qaeda leader Wahashi, official media reported.

As a side note, this is the same rhetoric we saw before the 9/11 attacks which hit the U.S. back in 2001, sparking some to question the missing Malaysian Airliner story and the new Boston Bombing terror threat which took place late Tuesday, after a backpack was detonated by the Boston bomb squad.
