At least 13 killed, 32 injured, in Barcelona van attack

Authorities have arrested one suspect in conjunction with the attack, two gunmen reportedly held up in local bar, hostages taken: Reports

SPAIN (INTELLIHUB) — According to reports, a terrorist drove a speeding van into a crowd of pedestrians in the capital city of Barcelona killing at least 13 people and injuring 32 others around noon local time.

As of 12:20 p.m. two gunmen are reportedly held up at a local bar close to the crash scene and have taken hostages, Fox News reports.

El Pais has reported: “The van used in the BCN attack had been rented by a man named Driss Oukabir.”

Authorities have arrested one suspect and have located a second van affiliated with the attack.
