Biden says he’s “running as a proud Democrat for the Senate”

"I am running as a proud Democrat for the Senate."

Imagine how insane it would be if a man running for president didn’t even know that he was running for president — well, that’s exactly what happened to presidential candidate Joe Biden at his rally in Toledo, Ohio on Monday when the 77-year-old former vice president told supporters that he was proud to be running for the Senate.

The Democrat from Delaware may have suffered some sort of flashback while delivering a speech at his rally on Monday which appears to have reminded him of the time he was running for his first senate seat back in the early 70s.

In an on-stage bungle, an unmasked Biden told attendees while scratching his head that he is proud to be running for the Senate after forgetting altogether that he is actually running for the presidency.

“You know, we have to come together that’s why I’m running,” Biden stated. “I am running as a proud Democrat for the Senate.”
