MCALLEN, Tex. (INTELLIHUB) — U.S. Border Patrol agent Chris Cabrera appeared on CNN on Monday where he explained that the border crisis along the U.S.-Mexico border and influx of illegal immigrants attempting to cross the border is so bad that agents have become overwhelmed and could use the help of port agents in the field.

This comes after President Donald Trump shut down ports of entry to deal with the crisis.

“We’ve been dealing with this since 2014 and nobody has lifted a finger and it has fallen in the lap of Border Patrol and we’re struggling down here to just keep things going… and on the second hand of that if they close those ports of entry we can use those agents out in the field to get control over what is going on,” he explained. “It’s so far out of hand that you guys wouldn’t believe it if you saw it.”

Now hear this warning from a landowner on the front line:

“At the rate, the average American is going in the relationship to America if they do not open their mind… and start taking part of the active protection of their land and flag then in three to five years it’s all over,” the landowner made clear.
