California activates ‘mass fatality’ disaster plan, orders 5000 body bags under guise of COVID

Officials in the State of California activated the state’s emergency ‘mass fatality’ disaster plan on Wednesday which is intended to help organize a response and save lives in the event a large-scale terrorist attack or major earthquake type event were to occur.

California Governor Gavin Newsom claims the Coroners’ Mutual Aid & Mass Fatality Management Planning Program was activated and preemptive measures have been taken due to an alarming increase in COVID-19 cases throughout the state in recent days.

The state has ordered a stockpile of 5,000 body bags and has pre-positioned 60 refrigerated morgue units in strategic locations throughout the state to help aid with the overflow.

“Sixty 53-foot refrigerated storage units are currently standing by now in counties and at hospitals,” the governor said during a press conference Wednesday. “We just had to order 5,000 additional body bag we just had to purchase for the state.”

Gov. Newsom has also put in a request for military assistance.

Long Valley Caldera ready to blow?

Scientists warn that 240 cubic miles of liquid hot magma located inside California’s Long Valley Caldera may be as dangerous as the Yellowstone supervolcano.

The United States Geological Survey has recorded a major uptick in seismic activity at Long Valley Caldera over the past 30 days and is heavily monitoring the situation.

Over 270 earthquakes have been reported at the Long Valley Caldera in the past 30 days causing concern.

Alaskan caldera?

Craig Medred reports the existence of a newly discovered caldera in Alaska that may also be ready to blow at any time adding to the list of potentials.

With one natural phenomenon already ravaging the globe in the form of the newly evolved SARS-CoV-2 virus, scientists are now warning they might have found the potential for another natural disaster far out in the Aleutian Arc of islands probing the Pacific Ocean off Alaska’s western coast.

As with the biologists who warned of pandemic viruses in the years before SARS-CoV-2 spawned the disease COVID-19 which has now killed more than 1.5 million and counting, the vulcanologists studying the Islands of Four Mountains says there are indications of a monstrous caldera beneath them that could explode any day.
