California officials try everything, claiming radioactive beach safe

To no surprise the government simply can’t be trusted anymore as people’s health is now at stake

SAN FRANCISCO (INTELLIHUB) — Amazingly, in an attempt to cover up the real truth and health dangers Americans are facing, San Mateo County Health Officer Dean Peterson announced that the high levels of radiation found at Surfer’s Beach recently “is not a public health threat”.

That’s right, according to Peterson 100-microRIM per hour is nothing, saying a that, ‘a person would need to be exposed to 100 microREMs of radiation for 50,000 hours before it surpassed safety guidelines by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’, according to the HMB Review. While this statement may be true, Peterson likely purposely mixed up the radioactive measurements of micro-REM and CPM or counts per minute, which changes the validity of his statement.

Interestingly enough, it appears that the local media jumped on that bandwagon rather quickly, publicizing that the radiation levels at the public beach are not high enough to harm humans and should be of no concern.

In fact, the state even called in Dan Sythe, International Medcom CEO, to create doubt within the general public.

Supposedly Sythe analyzed a dirt sample through a spectrum analyzer “to view the radioactive “signature” of the particles, the photon energy associated with each isotope. What he found was different from cesium-137, the fissile material used in the Fukushima reactors. He would know – since the 2011 meltdown, Sythe has visited Japan nine times to help map the cesium fallout”, according to a report done by Mark Noack.

Nonetheless the state has went out of their way to put out disinformation through various channels, explaining away the fact that high levels of radiation are present on the beach.

The HMB Review reported:

Sythe offered a couple possible explanations. A vein of thorium could be spilling out from the nearby coastal bluffs, he suggested. Alternatively, he heard mention of an old oil pipe running nearby the beach. Oil pipelines had a tendency to collect heavy radioactive minerals, he said.

Peterson thought the minerals could be just washing up with the salt water from the shores. The radioactive materials all were just past the high tide line, so it made sense that would be where the minerals would build up, he said.

“The conditions that are out on the beach could be the same conditions that have been out there for millennia,” he said.

Update: Tests by government health inspectors have found no connection between the elevated radiation levels at Coastside beaches and the Fukushima Daiichi disaster, according to a statement by the California Public Health Department released late on Tuesday evening. An analysis by county and state officials found the radiation was the result of naturally occurring minerals, a conclusion similar to reports by independent experts.

Well there you have it folks, according to the state of California the mystery is solved. It’s safe. I myself can’t wait to go swimming at Surfer’s Beach knowing that our elected officials gave the all clear [Joking of course]. Do they really think that we are going to believe this crap?

Moving forward, we can also take a look at another flawed report which claims that the brunt of Fukushima’s radiation had hit the West coast several years ago and has been declining ever since, making it sound like the situation is getting better. This is clear evidence that the media is hiding the real source and danger of the radiation and should not be taken lightly.

SF Gate reported:

Scientists reported Wednesday that low levels of radiation from Japan’s Fukushima disaster first detected off the California coast two years ago have been declining ever since and remain well below any levels considered unsafe for humans.

We also know that 15 out of 15 Bluefin tuna off the coast of California were found to contain radiation, showing that something has been present in the waters for some time. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure this out either, it’s that simple.

In fact, it’s even been openly admitted that radiation has been pouring into the Pacific Ocean from the damaged Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant by the utility Tepco themselves. And if you think about it, it only stands to reason that this radiation has now made it into the food chain and all around the Pacific basin, reaching as far north as Alaska.

Wednesday, a YouTuber going by “dutchsinse” did a test on a wild Alaskan salmon patty–and the results may shock you.

The Geiger counter read 42.8 CPM which was quite elevated over ambient levels that were holding around 17 CPM, proving that indeed the Alaskan salmon contained some radiation.

“We are getting a return greater than a common in-house background”, said dutchsinse.

Just another reason we shouldn’t trust the government when it comes to our health and well being.
