MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (INTELLIHUB) — Chaos and violence continued to spread throughout the city Thursday night as the City of Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct was burned to the ground by protesters in response to the police killing of George Floyd on Monday.
Rioters took to the streets destroying and burning nearly everything in their path last night in an effort to make a statement once and for all.
Flames slowly engulfed the precinct while police evacuated the facility.

The fire at the MPD’s 3rd Precinct was only at one corner 5 minutes ago. It’s now spread across the entire building. With no firefighters on scene… that building will likely be destroyed tonight. pic.twitter.com/t6p3Yv1KYV

To make matters worse, locals from the area are claiming that outsiders are being bussed in to create the chaos throughout the city which has already lead to at least one shooting death.

And if that is not enough, President Donald Trump has now threatened to shoot Americans who are looting.
On Thursday, Trump Tweeted: “….These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!”

The Tweet was even censored by Twitter for “violating community rules.”
“This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about glorifying violence. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible,” a statement from Twitter reads.
