(INTELLIHUB) — In yet another shocking example of the hard-left propaganda being pushed on college campuses throughout the country, Clemson University has spent over $26,000 on “training” that includes the ludicrous claim that expecting someone to be on time might not be inclusive.
The training, purchased from a company called Workplace Answers, includes a series of slides that force faculty to answer questions where the right answer is leftist political correctness propaganda and the wrong answer is anything that goes against this orthodoxy.
While there are multiple example of outlandish nonsense within the slides, perhaps the most shocking is a fictional scenario in which a group is not only ten minutes late but wants to socialize once they finally show up. The person who scheduled the meeting is then told that he should not even bring up anyone being late.
From Campus Reform:
On another slide, a character named Alejandro schedules a 9:00 a.m. meeting between two groups of foreign professors and students. The first group arrived fifteen minutes early, while the second arrived ten minutes late [and wanted to “socialize” first]. According to the answers, it is wrong for Alejandro to “politely ask the second group to apologize,” or explain that “in our country, 9:00 a.m. means 9:00 a.m.”
Alejandro should recognize and acknowledge cultural differences with ease and respect. Cultures view many things, including death, prosperity and even colors, quite differently. Time may be considered precise or fluid depending on the culture. For Alejandro to bring three cultures together he must start from a place of respect, understanding that his cultural perspective regarding time is neither more nor less valid than any other.
That’s right, in the bizarro world that is Clemson University, it is disrespectful to ones culture to expect them to show up at literally the exact time of a scheduled meeting or class.
All in all, the slides published by Campus Reform are extremely illuminating and paint a picture of leftist companies making tens of thousands of dollars to literally push outright propaganda as if it is somehow grounded in reality.
The anonymous faculty member who released the slides told Campus Reform that he was appalled and that it was a direct waste of time and money.
“I’m appalled that Clemson thought it was necessary to ‘encourage’ its employees to take this course.”
“I can only guess the number of productivity hours the University lost while faculty and staff suffered through the infuriating, biased, laughable examples. Did anyone taking the course really learn anything new?”
