TENNESSEE (INTELLIHUB) — A police officer was sentenced to 3 years and 3 months in jail, and was added to the local sex offender registry, after he was caught viewing underage pornography in his patrol car.

The cop, 45 year old Herbert Eugene Miller pleaded guilty and was sentenced on Monday.

The investigation started after a co worker found a disturbing internet search history in one of the patrol cars and told his superiors.

On Aug. 4, Miller’s supervisor was notified that the computer in Miller’s patrol car logged multiple searches for child pornography, including “fifth grade girls” and “naked middle school girls,” according to a criminal complaint obtained by The Smoking Gun.

Thousands of pornographic images, more than 80 of which were child pornography, were also allegedly found on the 45-year-old’s computer.
