Fmr. C.I.A. Dir. says, ‘Obama couldn’t have tapped Trump Tower’
(INTELLIHUB) Former C.I.A. Director Michael Hayden joined Stephen Colbert on the Late Show Tuesday night to discuss spying and downplay the government’s role publically.
When asked if Trump’s allegations of a wiretap in Trump Tower are possible Hayden replied, “No.”
The former director told Colbert that only a court has the authority to take such action and not the president, which obviously is a ruse because the president could have ordered the filing with a court by directing someone to do so.
Hayden said that “Probable cause” would have to be evident for a judge to issue a warrant.
A transcription of what followed via the New York Times:
COLBERT: Is the C.I.A. listening to me through my microwave oven and through my TV and through my cellphone? Are they doing that, sir?
COLBERT: If they were, would you say yes?
COLBERT: Is that a true answer?
HAYDEN: Yes. Look ——
COLBERT: I don’t believe you.
HAYDEN: I get that a lot.
COLBERT: Yeah, okay. You can’t tell me if it’s true, right?
HAYDEN: No, I can tell you that these tools would not be used against an American.
What we essentially have here is a propaganda campaign, it’s plain and simple.
The former C.I.A. director — who’s likely still operational for that matter — came forth on a deep state-sponsored program, i.e. the Late Show, in an effort to thwart the masses! We already know they are spying on us! And if they can spy on us, surely they can spy on a presidential candidate.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is a good indicator of just how deep the deep state really goes and displays a little bit of its reach.
Take note: the powers-that-be are in full effect.
