Hurricane Irma continues to surge pushing seawater inland engulfing the entire Miami downtown area by Brickell Ave.
MIAMI, Fla. (INTELLIHUB) — As of 1:47 p.m. local time the city’s downtown area remains completely flooded while Hurricane Irma’s surge continues.
Elevator shafts and basements of buildings are reportedly filled with water and levels are still rising.
Winds are currently fluctuating between 70 and 100 mph.
