Fail: Cop killed by radical Islamists in Paris attack was Muslim

One of the attackers made poor judgement, killing fellow Muslim

PARIS (INTELLIHUB) — 50,000 French law enforcement officers and 38,000 special security agents have been deployed in a massive manhunt to locate the two remaining suspected active shooters, Said Kouachi, 34, and Cherif Kouachi, 32, who allegedly attacked the offices of Charlie Hebdo Wednesday killing 12.

Law enforcement officers continue to scour the Village of Corcy and the N2 Hwy. heading Northeast out of Paris in hopes of locating the two remaining attackers who are said to still be armed and dangerous.

Large swaths of France are now under the highest terror alert.

However, a mistake may have been made by one of the attackers, likely conflicting with his religious ideology. In fact one of the policemen, Ahmed Merabet, 42, who was killed by this masked attacker at point-blank range on Wednesday was indeed Muslim in what some would consider an epic fail or botched attack.

Interestingly the third shooting suspect, Hamyd Mourad, 18, turned himself in to authorities on Thursday after he heard his name in the news, according to reports. Mourad is said to have ties with Al-Qaeda.
