Giuliani says Mueller team cannot be trusted

Trump attorney Rudi Giuliani says at least two of FBI Agent Peter Strzok's cohorts were left behind and are still operating from inside

(INTELLIHUB) — President Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani appeared on Fox News Wednesday where he said that FBI attorney Robert Mueller absolutely cannot be trusted and explained how the investigation became “tainted” due to FBI Agent Peter Strzok’s political bias.

Moreover, Giuliani told Fox News that he believes that Strzok may have left behind several of his cohorts who are presently working on the investigation.

“If that’s the case, then how can you trust anything that they’re doing in this investigation?” Giuliani questioned. “When you have guys around you that are saying ‘stop the president’ — ‘America must be saved’ — ‘we have to stop him at all costs’ — you cant trust that.”

“We have to investigate the investigators in order to determine if there’s a valid investigation,” he explained. “It’s terrible — I don’t think we’ve seen this before in the history of the FBI or the Justice Department and it took the present Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General, and the director of the FBI a long time to wake up to it, and I’m not sure if they’re completely woke up to it yet.”
