After being pushed to the forefront of major news inside the United States for his comments regarding the deceptive practices carried out by consultants and Obama administration officials in the passage and implementation of the Affordable Care Act, Jonathan Gruber will come face to face with the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee next month to be grilled on the lack of transparency surrounding Obamacare.
Along side Gruber during the testimony will be Obama administration official Marilyn Tavenner, who has come under fire for inflating Obamacare enrollment numbers by nearly 400,000 people.
The testimony is set to take place on Dec. 9.
“The American people deserve honesty, transparency and respect from those who forced the federal government into their healthcare. I expect Mr. Gruber and Administrator Tavenner to testify publicly next month about the arrogance and deceptions surrounding the passage and implementation of Obamacare,” committee chairman Darrell Issa wrote in a statement last week.
