Irma now Cat 5, winds in excess of 175 mph

Irma intensifies, Florida residents warned to prepare

(INTELLIHUB) Hurricane Irma has intensified and is now being classified as a Category 5 storm with winds in excess of 175 mph.

Irma is expected to ravage the U.S. Virgin Islands and Florida when it makes landfall Sept. 9-11.

“[…] at some point, it’s supposed to make a hard right-hand turn,” according to the Weather Network’s meteorologist.

If you are in Florida or along the East or Gulf Coast you need to prepare.
