Louisville, Kentucky expected to break loose following Breonna Taylor decision

Will protests break out in Louisville?

Law enforcement in Louisville is on edge and preparing for a response from protesters ahead of Tuesday’s anticipated court ruling whether or not to indict officers involved in the shooting death of 26-year old Breonna Taylor.

“Chief of Police Robert J. Schroeder is declaring a state of emergency for the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) as they wait for Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s decision whether or not to indict the officers in the Breonna Taylor case,” Lex 18 reports. “The department has canceled all off days and vacation requests until further notice.”

The Gene Snyder Courthouse is set to close this week in response.
