A man claims in a video posted to Instagram that a bulletin went out to teachers in California instructing them to not televise the live presidential inauguration ceremony at all costs due to the potential threat of violence.

The man said that a friend of his sent him the “message” which went out to teachers in California.

“It says ‘Urgent: Inauguration Day Restricted,'” he said. “Prohibit viewing of a live broadcast of the inauguration on Wednesday.”

“Please do not broadcast on any form of media, radio, computer, etc. Do not broadcast the 59th Inaugural Ceremony to your class. This is due to the risk of violence that faces our nation during the ceremonies and the intense stressful images of high security.”

Shockingly, the man claims the bulletin goes on to read: “Be careful as well not to shout out or emotionally respond in your classroom to any emergency announcement you may become aware of.”

Intellihub has not been able to independently verify the man’s claims.
