ISIS terror cell just 8 miles from Texas border

EL PASO, Tex. (INTELLIHUB) — Back in April Judicial Watch reported how their sources revealed that ISIS has already set up a few base-camps near the southern U.S. border. One only 8 miles into Mexico, in “Anapra”, […] “just west of Ciudad Juárez” and another “to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas”, closer to New Mexico.
According to the report, Mexican officials believe that ISIS is being aided by the local cartels which make policing the area and information gathering difficult due to the “extremely hostile operating environment”.
Sources of Judicial Watch also maintain that “ISIS intends to exploit the railways and airport facilities in the vicinity of Santa Teresa, NM (a US port-of-entry)” and even has “spotters” staged on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land inside “New Mexico” in what looks like the early stages of tactical prepositioning for a potential upcoming attack on the U.S. Homeland.
Moreover the report concluded that “ISIS is conducting reconnaissance of regional universities; the White Sands Missile Range; government facilities in Alamogordo, NM; Ft. Bliss; and the electrical power facilities near Anapra and Chaparral, NM.” which should be a major concern to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) at this time.
