“Look how deep and gnarly that rut is”

ARLINGTON, Tex. (INTELLIHUB) — The 450SX (20-minute plus one lap Main EventRound 6 of the 2017 AMA Monster Energy Supercross was won by French rider Marvin Musquin (Team Red Bull/Factory KTM), who powered his way to a brilliant 1st place win with a 5.3 second lead over the next fastest rider of the night.

The race lasted 26 laps when Musquin took the checked flag at AT&T Stadium.

Musquin was quoted saying, “I grabbed the holeshot on the restart and just tried to focus on what was in front of me. It was so easy to make a mistake out there tonight.”

Musquin said winning a Supercross main had been a dream of his since he was a kid.

The first race was red-flagged in the beginning of the opening lap, which forced a restart for all riders after Justin Brayton took a spill.

Ryan Dungey had the gate pick but didn’t manage to get the holeshot — or a decent start for that matter.

Cole Seely ended up with second place and Jason Anderson finished third — Dungey and Wilson round out the top-5.

A commentator said that Cooper Webb was looking good and had pretty much “found his chemistry” on the track

The track “was really chewed up” the commentator said.

One rider suffered a flat.
