An article out of Newsweek confirms that the National Aeronautics Space Administration is plotting the potential impact of three asteroids with Earth before the November election.

The report focuses on an asteroid identified by NASA as 2018 VP1 which is set to arrive on Nov 2, 2020.

The object has a 0.41% chance of impacting Earth, according to NASA data.

Several other potentially hazardous asteroids are set to fly by Earth between now and the election.

2018 VP1 is 6.5 feet in diameter.
