New Jersey brothers find 5 Mickey Mantle baseball cards worth over $1M

Wouldn't it be nice to find 5 baseball cards in your childhood collection worth over $1 million dollars? Well, that's exactly what two brothers did.

Two brothers in New Jersey may be millionaires after discovering five 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle baseball cards commonly referred to as the “Holy Grail” of the sports memorabilia world in their childhood collection.

Back in the day, baseball cards were larger and real photography was used which makes the cards extremely attractive among today’s collectors some of which are willing to pay a pretty penny.

In fact, the brothers have already sold two of their five cards and have received over $250,000 for doing so. Not bad huh?

One of the cards is in “near mint” condition and is anticipated to sell for “one million or more” at auction, according to Saturday’s CBS This Morning report.
