No aircraft carriers off East Coast of CONUS while Russian spy ship creeps only 70-miles out

Russians test known gap in U.S. defenses, send spy ship through proverbial hole in fence

(INTELLIHUB) — Information I reported for Infowars in early January reinforces how our nation’s defenses have been compromised and tactical strike capabilities have been diminished as a result of the irregular assignment of U.S. Navy assets, i.e. carrier groups, in recent weeks.

In the piece, published on Jan. 2, 2017, I questioned if such action was ordered out of incompetence, negligence, or out of intention.

In Sitting ducks? All Active U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers Currently Sitting in Port Against Protocol I detailed how, at the time, every single active U.S. aircraft carrier in the Navy’s fleet was either on the hard in dry dock or undergoing repairs somewhere dockside. I literally proved how not one single aircraft carrier was patrolling in any region. And now, a little over a month later, we’ve once again been left vulnerable. I mean red alert! All shields are down Scotty! Not one single aircraft carrier patrolling off the East Coast and we have sightings of a Russian spy ship moving north.

The bad news struck on Tuesday after a Russian spy ship identified as the “SSV-175 Viktor Leonov” worked its way within 70-miles of the CONUS near Delaware.

The SSV-175 is currently sailing at a trawling speed and “is expected to continue north until it gets to the sub base at New London, Conn., then turn around and head south toward Cuba,” CBS News reported.

The U.S. military is currently monitoring SSV-175’s position.
