In Washington and Colorado we have seen the voters speak, the message is clear. Pot is legal.
However, there has been widespread speculation that the federal government would still prosecute recreational marijuana users in states where marijuana has been deemed legal. But, fear no more, as the fed’s are now claiming that they have bigger fish to fry.
In a recent ABC interview with President Obama and his wife, renown reporter Barbra Walters popped the question to the president, “Do you think that marijuana should be legalized?” Obamas response was interesting spouting, “I wouldn’t go that far”.
However, as the interview progressed Walters got some good information out of the president. “As it is I think that the federal government has alot to do when it comes to prosecution”, stated the president, signifying that he possibly has no plans on starting a conflict with the states.
Walters also asked the president about his former marijuana use as a young man and what does he tell his girls about it now. Obama says he tells his girls “Don’t make the same mistakes I did”.
