MADRAS (INTELLIHUB) — The small town of Madras, home to 7000 residents, has been inundated with more than 70,000 people who have traveled from afar to witness the solar eclipse on Monday.

As a result of the rush traffic is so bad that the Oregon National Guard has been dispatched to the region to avert total chaos.

Madras is in the eclipse path “Totality” where one can see the entire sun covered by the moon.
