Pentagon: ‘Operation was carefully orchestrated and methodically planned’

‘These airstrikes were justified’

WASHINGTON (INTELLIHUB) — A Pentagon spokeswoman told reporters at a press conference Saturday, that Bashar Al-Assad’s use of chemical weapons was a violation of international law and will not be tolerated.

The spokeswoman who was dressed in a rather bright purple jacket offered harsh words toward the alleged chemical attackers when speaking about the three Syrian sites targeted by U.S. and allied airstrikes.

“The use of chemical weapons anywhere in the world is an inexcusable violation of international law and the United States will not tolerate it,” she explained. “We launched these strike to cripple Syria’s ability to use these chemical weapons in the future.”

“This operation was carefully orchestrated and methodically planned to minimize potential collateral damage. I can assure you we took every measure and precaution to strike only what we targeted, and we successfully hit every target.

The government spokeswoman went on to say that the airstrikes “were justified.”
