Philly protest gets wild, city under siege: Video, pics

Philadelphia burns as organized protesters wreak havoc in the streets

PHILADELPHIA (INTELLIHUB) —  Black Lives Matter supporters took to the streets in rage Saturday in response to the police killing of George Floyd on Monday.

The downtown district of the city looked more like a scene out of the hit Hollywood film Black Hawk Down then anything else.

Protesters flipped over police cars and set them on fire as others vandalized virtually everything in sight.

A Wells Fargo bank was set ablaze.

A few choice shots show the aftermath from the Saturday morning onslaught.

This man can pop a wheelie.

The mayor’s statue was set on fire and pulled down.

Starbucks and City Hall burned as police stood idle.

Smoke filled the air.

More police cars torched.
