Pope confused about God’s word?

By Lexi Morgan

VATICAN CITY (INTELLIHUB) — Last Friday Pope Francis condemned the legalization of the all natural, medicinal, plant, herb, known as a marijuana, which is currently is classified as a Scheduled I Controlled Substance by the U.S. Federal Government.

Yes that’s right; a plant is actually classified as a “Scheduled I Substance” or a “drug”.

However the Pope and possibly even lawmakers may need to go back and re-read the Bible, Genesis 1:29 to be exact, which states the following:

29Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.”

And for those who argue that Marijuana is being abused by smoking it there are what’s known as “edibles” as the plant itself can be made into a variety of wonderful and healing foods which can be ingested.

Just some food for thought. Pardon the pun.

Do you think that marijuana should be legalized for recreational use?
