PORTLAND, OR (INTELLIHUB.COM) — Reports say that a woman who recently traveled back to the U.S. from Liberia was “whisked” to the hospital Friday after displaying a fever spike in excess of 102°F.

Apparently the woman was already being self-monitored and called health officials as soon as she exhibited symptoms.

The woman is currently being treated at Providence Milwaukee Hospital.

It was also reported that health officials are awaiting test results from the CDC and will make more announcements once the results are in. Health officials say the woman is considered a “low-Ebola-risk”.

Sources of Intellihub News also maintain that over 100 people are being monitored nationwide.
