WOODINVILLE, WA (INTELLIHUB)  — Jesse Jones, a reporter for King5 news in Seattle recently did a segment on marijuana fed pork which is becoming a new trend in the Northwest.

That’s right, the marijuana fed pork is a favorite for BBQ and runs $12-$20 a pound.

“Thanks the voters of Washington State” these pigs are on the “rock star diet”, said Jones.

For the last two months of the pig’s life they are given marijuana and alcohol, before being slaughtered at what has been called “the happiest farm in Washington”.

However, according to the butcher, you can’t get high off of eating the pork.
