WASHINGTON (INTELLIHUB) — It’s well known among top legal analysts in the political world that the President of the United States reserves vested authority to pardon his or herself if he or she sees fit, and on Monday President Trump did just that when he took to Twitter.

The Commander-in-Chief tweeted: “As has been stated by numerous legal scholars, I have the absolute right to PARDON myself, but why would I do that when I have done nothing wrong? In the meantime, the never ending Witch Hunt, led by 13 very Angry and Conflicted Democrats (& others) continues into the mid-terms!”

The President then fired out a follow-up tweet which points out the type of games they all like to play on Capitol Hill.

“The appointment of the Special [Counsel] is totally UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Despite that, we play the game because I, unlike the Democrats, have done nothing wrong!,” he tweeted.

Is the Russian collusion investigation starting to break the POTUS down, possibly physically, mentally, or both?
