Update: This is Lansing Correctional Facility in Kansas
LANSING, Kan. (INTELLIHUB) — Video footage from inside a United States correctional facility reveals that prisoners have been rioting over coronavirus fears after guards shut off water and other essential items they need to survive and the guards are nowhere to be found.
The mayhem started at Lansing Correction Facility when prisoners were denied protection from the virus known as COVID-19.
“They doin’ us wrong… they won’t let us take showers… they turned the water off,” one inmate explained. “They won’t let us do anything… they [are] denying us food and stuff.”
“That’s what happens when you push us too far,” another inmate said.
Another inmate questioned: “Why are they not helping us?” “They are not helping us in here,” he said.
Why is not one guard present? Did the U.S. government leave all these people to die?
How many other prisons are like this in the U.S.?
