(INTELLIHUB) — Former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, who many believe had insider knowledge of, or even involvement with, the September 11, 2001 attacks, went on CNN Thursday to talk about his book titled “Exceptional — Why the World Needs a Powerful America,” co-authored by his wife. During the broadcast Cheney also spoke about the current state of the nation’s security and defenses, which Cheney said has diminished greatly with the Obama Administration. Shockingly, Cheney also warned of another 9/11 style attack.
Cheney blamed the Obama Admin for spawning ISIS and said that the Obama Admin failed to “follow through” with tough strategies the Bush Administration put into place and withdrew from the Middle East “as quickly as possible” which ultimately allowed ISIS to “fill the vacuum.”
“Iraq was in good shape when we left office.”
Cheney also said that ISIS is “extraordinarily dangerous, partly because of their ability to recruit from the U.S. for people to become members of ISIS to go to Syria, Iraq and so forth.” But the real danger is having those people return and later motivate others to kill “infidels,” Cheney said.
“I think we could see another 9/11 style attack with much deadlier weapons. I’m worried if they use chemicals or biological agents or nuclear weapons […] it will be much worse if they find deadlier weapons.”
While the footage was filmed August of 2015, CNN’s re-release comes as the Dow Jones Industrial Average topped 17,746 Thursday, raising a major red flag.
