Russia accelerating efforts to abandon U.S. dollar

Due to the recent trade war and the fact that the U.S. dollar is printed out of thin air with nothing backing it, Russia plans to ditch U.S. currency altogether

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov recently told International Affairs Magazine that Russia is planning to dump the U.S. dollar in trade deals altogether presumably because the fiat currency isn’t even worth the paper it’s printed on.

“The time has come when we need to go from words to actions, and get rid of the dollar as a means of mutual settlements, and look for other alternatives,” said the foreign minister who says retaliation for the sanctions is coming.

The minister said that Russia is in talks with Iran and Turkey and are planning to do trade deals with the Ruble cutting out the United States.
