Walmart may soon be entering your airspace

(INTELLIHUB) — Walmart may be getting ready for a “drone army” and “applied Monday to U.S. regulators for permission,” said N³’s Gary Fanchi.

That’s right it looks like Walmart may be going “head-to-head with Amazon” with UAV delivery services which Franchi says may be dangerous due to the fact that the drones, ran by a major corporation, may be able to spy and monitor on portions of the general public.

Walmart is currently looking into using the drones to help with scanning inventory and make deliveries to other stores in the chain. Walmart also plans on researching using the drones for their grocery pickup service and home delivery.
