ANP was contacted by a very concerned veteran about a report he heard on a local news station in Knoxville, TN which specifically highlighted that “more and more Veterans were becoming criminals,” where our emailer described an interview with a police officer who “stated all Veterans are on a nation wide criminal gang list.”
Via the email:
He also stated the reason for Veterans being on the list was so they could monitor Veterans in their area and be able to go through a Veterans training files to see what skills they were trained in such as knife fighting skills, combat training, weapons training and other skills the Veteran would know or use.
I knew we were being monitored but not to that extent. I do not know if you have heard or reported about this but it is troubling to know a city police officer good or bad can have access to our files on the federal level.
This is not new, but an ongoing attempt by the U.S. government to neutralize the biggest threat to a tyrannical government should martial law be declared, therefore our military veterans top the much-talked about “red list,” aka the “nationwide criminal gang list,” which are the first people targeted for elimination.
Reports have shown that veterans are being denied the medications they need to survive, receiving letters declaring them “incompetent” to handle their own affairs, and being put on a list to prevent them from purchasing firearms.
This is detailed in an excellent report by Michael Connelly, a Constitutional Attorney at United States Justice Foundation on May 15, 2015.
The letter also tells the veteran that once they are declared incompetent they can no longer own, possess, purchase, or transport firearms or ammunition. If they do they will be prosecuted. The names of veterans who have been declared incompetent are sent by the VA to the FBI where they are automatically declared to have been adjudicated to be mentally defective to the point of being a danger to themselves or others. They are put on the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) and can no longer legally purchase firearms.
However, in none of the cases that we know of has there been an adjudication process with a hearing before a judge or an administrative judge. Nor have the veterans in most cases been examined by a psychiatrist, psychologist, or even an MD. Eric Holder decided that anyone who works for the VA can declare veterans incompetent for any reason including having their bills paid automatically out of their bank accounts.
I have reported on all of this is the past, but as we have gotten more aggressive in representing individual veterans to defend their Constitutional rights the VA has adopted additional tactics against our American heroes. Some veterans have never gotten any letter or official notification from the VA. They find out they are on the NICS list when they try to purchase a firearm. Often they can’t even find out why they are on the list.
Mr Connelly also gives a very succinct explanation of why all this is being done:
What we have uncovered is a coordinated effort by multiple federal agencies to disarm the American people. The tactics being used are not just violating the Constitutional rights of Americans, but include outright criminal acts such as extortion and blackmail. Veterans continue to be the primary target, but the groundwork has been laid to expand the disarmament efforts to the rest of the population.
The veterans are clearly considered the most dangerous of the gun owners in the country because there are 23 million of us and we all took an oath of office to “protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” We are trained to do just that so we pose a threat to those who want to take away our Constitutional republic.
This has been an ongoing effort by the Obama administration since 2009 when a controversial intelligence assessment was publicly released, titled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment,” in which veterans were named a threat in multiple instances within the report.
On page two-three of the nine-page report, under the heading “Key Findings,” it stated:
(U//FOUO) The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms and the return ofmilitary veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communitiescould lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremistscapable of carrying out violent attacks.
(U//FOUO) Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that areattractive to rightwing extremists. DHS/I&A is concerned that rightwingextremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order toboost their violent capabilities.
On page seven, under the header of “Disgruntled Military Veterans” it stated:
(U//FOUO) DHS/I&A assesses that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit andradicalize returning veterans in order to exploit their skills and knowledge derived frommilitary training and combat. These skills and knowledge have the potential to boost thecapabilities of extremists—including lone wolves or small terrorist cells—to carry outviolence. The willingness of a small percentage of military personnel to join extremistgroups during the 1990s because they were disgruntled, disillusioned, or suffering fromthe psychological effects of war is being replicated today.
— (U) After Operation Desert Shield/Storm in 1990-1991, some returning militaryveterans—including Timothy McVeigh—joined or associated with rightwingextremist groups.
— (U) A prominent civil rights organization reported in 2006 that “large numbersof potentially violent neo-Nazis, skinheads, and other white supremacists are nowlearning the art of warfare in the [U.S.] armed forces.”
— (U//LES) The FBI noted in a 2008 report on the white supremacist movementthat some returning military veterans from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan havejoined extremist groups.

As Americans are being conditioned to seeing massive military convoys on the streets across the nation military “drills” and exercises are being scheduled, some already implemented, to further desensitize US citizens to what is happening under their very noses, leading them to consider the militarization of our country as “normal.”
A number of events are occurring that indicate the time is rapidly approaching where political opponents, constitutionalists, survivalists, Christians and other religious affiliations, and any other group that would oppose living in a police state, will be targeted and are already on the “red list.” Sadly, it is the veterans that tops that list.
You know the endgame has accelerated when “they” aren’t even trying to hide the fact that the lists exists.
They know who you are. They know where you are. They know what your capabilities are.
[UPDATE] Via an email to ANP, shown below:
Concerning your story about Vets being on a list, I can confirm that I (as a Vet) have been contacted by FBI posing as “hunters” while I was working on my property near a county road. After intro, they started asking about militias in my area & I denied knowing such goings on.
My phone has been monitored & my email account has had attempted “hacks”. I thought I was being singled out for my former skills or just plain paranoid, but after meeting with other Vets I know in surrounding counties, they have had even more unusual contacts with strangers suspected of being “Feds”.
My being under scrutiny happened when I received the new “Veterans Choice” Medical Benefits card. I called the 1-866 phone number to activate the card. They lady on other end TOLD me where I was calling from & she just “verified” I was who I was (go figure that). Other Vets around here experienced the same. That’s when the phone monitoring & Gucci-flauge guys started showing up.
