U.S. carrier strike group continues GPS jamming exercises off eastern seaboard

Military exercises do not officially correlate with Monday's gun rights rally in Virginia as other outlets purported

(INTELLIHUB) — U.S. Carrier Strike Group Four will be continuing GPS interference testing exercises on Thursday and Friday of this week which the Federal Aviation Administration warns may result in an unreliable or unavailable GPS signal.

An FAA-issued flight advisory for January 23 and 24 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. EST. shows about a 400-mile radius where the exercises are scheduled to take place.

Other news outlets tried to connect the exercises to Monday’s gun rights rally in Virginia but the dates do not officially overlap.
