President Trump and top military experts, including generals, concur that transgender people simply have no place in the U.S. Armed Forces

WASHINGTON (INTELLIHUB) — After consulting military experts and generals, President Donald Trump tweeted that transgender people will no longer be allowed to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces.

On Wednesday, in a series of tweets, the President wrote: “After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow […] transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming […] victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you.”

Although the President’s decision to no longer allow transgender people to participate in the U.S. military is sure to cause a stir from the LGBT community and transgender activists, it’s likely in the best interest of the country.
