Ukrainian government blocks 10 tons of humanitarian aid

Ukrainian government holding humanitarian aid from citizens

UKRAINE (INTELLIHUB) — Through weeks of intense protesting in Ukraine, the government has been shown to be incredibly heartless and merciless towards it’s native born population.  There have been reports of extreme police brutality in the streets, hundreds of hospitalizations and even reports of torture  and death.

With protests continuing and escalating, the entire country has become a police state and now they have created even more problems.  One already existing problem is the 10 tons of humanitarian aid that has been sitting in a storehouse for nearly 5 months, since before the recent wave of conflict began.

Although the humanitarian aid crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border, it has not reached its destination yet. The Ukrainian Customs Service blocked the container, UNIAN reports.

The Ukrainian customs procedures came as a surprise to Poland. The country stuck to all the terms set by Ukraine when organizing the humanitarian aid.  According to some reports a buerocratic technicality could be responsible for this issue.  In order to reach people in Maidan, the humanitarian aid must be allowed by eight Ukrainian Ministries.
