A major underground explosion rocked a portion of Franklin D Roosevelt River Drive Saturday afternoon forcing emergency services to respond to the scene.

A coffee connoisseur and Yankees fan by the name of Allie Radliff caught the aftermath on video and posted it on Twitter.

“Underground explosion between FDR and 1st Ave less than 10 minutes ago. Firefighters and Police Officers arriving at the scene @NY1 @ABC7NY,” she tweeted.

Officials have not yet released a statement on what caused the explosion and no other details are known at this time.
