An EMT was captured on Las Vegas Metropolitan Police body-worn camera footage on the night of October 1, 2017, recovering a spent .223 rifle cartridge from the intersection of Giles Street and E. Ali Baba Lane which reveals that there was likely more than one shooter as the police and FBI maintain.
Astonishingly, the brass rifle casing was discovered just feet away from the venue to the east and was turned over to police by the EMT who was wearing gloves at the time.

“I just found this in the street brotha,” the EMT told a nearby police officer. “A .223 round, right here. I don’t know if it’s any help but I just wanted you to know.”
The officer responded by saying: “Glove it.”
Keep in mind, the casing recovered by the EMT was not the only one. If you’ll remember, Joe Napoli also reported seeing about a dozen “brass tubes” in the parking lot of the Tropicana after he fled the venue. Not to mention, there was another spent .223 casing found in a nearby hotel restroom.
The LVMPD reports, over 1200 rounds were fired out of a broken window from a 32nd-floor Mandalay Bay Vista Suite rented by Stephen Paddock. However, three other women whose full identities are unknown were also registered to the room.
