Stunning images of Tuesday’s solar eclipse: Captured on video.

(INTELLIHUB) — A 6,800-mile path of darkness was carved across parts of Chile and Argentina on Tuesday during a rare solar eclipse.

The eclipse started at around 3:22 p.m. local time and ended just after 4:30 p.m. when, according to the Washington Post, “a curtain of violet and deep azure will emerge over the western horizon, then a shroud of darkness will approach overhead.”
