A man staying in Mandalay Bay room 32-132 on the night of the 1 October massacre told officials he heard voices in the hallway just outside of Stephen Paddock's room as the shooting occurred

LAS VEGAS (INTELLIHUB) — A man who was staying in Mandalay Bay room 32-132 told police on the night of the 1 October massacre that he could hear gunshots emanating from a room down the hall to the left and said he heard voices in the hall before police arrived.

The bombshell witness statement was given to Crisis Negotiator J. Williams after he was relieved from his shift at Mandalay Bay following the gunfire in which he was tasked with manning a door that only LVMPD personnel was allowed to enter.

According to the crisis negotiator’s report, the witness who was staying in room 32-132 as gunfire erupted told Williams “the gunshots sounded as if they were coming from the left door then went silent” and said he “could hear people talking outside.”

According to the witness, the entire encounter took place during the 10-minute-long active shooting before any law enforcement arrived at the 32nd-floor.
